Major nuclear pumps contract follows ASME certification

Congratulations to our ClydeUnion Pumps team in Annecy, France, who have just completed their first nuclear pumps project since obtaining full ASME certification. The contract involved the design and supply of N12 and N13 pump packages as part of the safety upgrade of a 730MW PWR nuclear power plant in Europe.

In addition to ASME certification, our Annecy site is accredited by the American Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) under Article 50 Appendix B for the Quality Assurance Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Reprocessing Plants. Our customer therefore had full confidence that the Alternate Auxiliary Feedwater (AAF) pump and Alternate Safety Injection (ASI) pump were made to the highest quality standards.
