The CUP-BB3, a heavy duty pump from our ClydeUnion Pumps brand is designed to help overcome these challenges. It combines proven high-pressure performance with features that simplify maintenance, reduce downtime, and support extended service intervals.

Applications include seawater injection, refinery charge duties, crude oil and product pipelines, boiler feed systems, and high-pressure reverse osmosis. Lower-speed configurations can also handle abrasive services such as sand-laden crude oil transfer.

A double volute casing helps minimise radial thrust loads, back-to-back impellers reduce axial thrust and optional double suction first-stage impellers support challenging suction conditions. Flanged auxiliary connections, integral wear rings, and a robust rotor assembly all help extend service intervals and keep your equipment running reliably.

Designed in accordance with API 610 and API 682 standards, the CUP-BB3 supports capacities up to 3,000 m³/hr, delivery heads up to 3,350 metres and operating speeds up to 6,500 rpm. NACE-compatible material configurations are also available for corrosive process environments.

Simplified maintenance, increased uptime

The CUP-BB3's axially split design enables inspection and balancing without full rotor disassembly, helping shorten planned outages. In many cases, a complete rotor changeout can be completed in under eight hours. Pumps are available as standalone units or complete packaged systems.
