High Five! Our Houston site maintains its track record for quality with five ASME accreditations

As part of our ongoing commitment to quality and excellence, our facility in Houston, TX has recently undergone a thorough recertification process and has once again received five ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) accreditations. The ASME quality stamps apply to the design, manufacture and test of general industrial and nuclear grade valves and nuclear grade pumps.

“We take great pride in consistently meeting and exceeding the rigorous standards set forth by ASME over the years,” says Pedro Flores-Castillo, Director of Engineering - Valves. “This achievement is a testament to our dedication to ensuring that the valves and pumps we design, manufacture and test remain of the highest quality in the industry.”

The five ASME stamps that apply to our products and processes are:

  • ASME U – for the manufacture of pressure vessels
  • ASME S – for the manufacture and assembly of power boilers

For nuclear valves and pumps:

  • ASME N – for the construction of class 1, 2 & 3 valves, pumps and piping systems
  • ASME NA – for class 1, 2 & 3 shop assembly
  • ASM NPT – for the fabrication without design responsibility for class 1, 2 & 3 and fabrication with design responsibility for class 1, 2 & 3 appurtenances, along with manufacturing and supply of ferrous and nonferrous metals.

Pedro has a neat way of remembering what these stamps really mean for our company and our customers:

“With Unparallelled brand recognition and Superior product technology, we want to be your Next partner of choice, providing products with Natural and efficient operations, and uNPrecedenTed customer satisfaction. That is why we are ASME U, S, N, NA and NPT certified!”

Congratulations to all involved, for living our values and achieving this level of excellence.
