Celeros Flow Technology Appoints Director of Sales to Lead U.S. GD Bandlock™ Closures Operations

Celeros Flow Technology is pleased to announce the appointment of Luis Echevarria as Director of Sales for GD Engineering operations across the Americas. In his new role, Luis will focus on expanding the market presence of GD Bandlock™2 quick opening closures throughout the region and strengthening the company’s network of channel partners to ensure full lifecycle support for customers using GD Engineering’s pipeline access solutions.

This strategic appointment follows Celeros Flow Technology’s recent investment in a dedicated U.S.-based manufacturing operation for GD Bandlock™ closures at its existing Houston facility. The move reflects the significant growth potential for Bandlock™ closures in the Americas, building on their original British engineering heritage and long‑standing global reputation for quality, safety, and reliability.

GD Bandlock™2 quick opening closures are widely used across demanding industrial applications, including pipeline pig launchers and receivers in midstream oil and gas operations, as well as industrial processing systems that rely on safe, efficient access for inspection and maintenance.

Luis brings more than a decade of industry experience to his new role. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing, awarded in 2011, and has held progressively senior sales positions with leading pipeline and flow equipment companies, including T.D. Williamson, Pipeline Equipment Inc., CIRCOR, and Inline Services. His background combines deep technical understanding with a strong customer-focus in complex, safety‑critical environments.
