As 2024 draws to an end, Celeros Flow Technology reflects on a year of milestones, achievements, and celebrations. This year marked significant anniversaries for two of our valued brands: S&N Pumps celebrated 70 years, while GD Engineering marked its 80th anniversary. These celebrations highlighted the remarkable contributions these brands have made to Celeros FT and the industries we serve, showcasing their rich legacies and innovative spirit.

GD Engineering: 80 Years of Excellence

In 2024, GD Engineering commemorated eight decades of pioneering advancements in pipeline access and pigging solutions. The milestone was celebrated with an employee BBQ and awards ceremony at the Worksop, UK site. During the celebration, awards were presented to team members who have demonstrated outstanding service and commitment to our values. Special recognition was also given to the site’s exemplary safety record: achieving an incredible 3,328 days—more than nine years—without a lost time incident.

Celeros FT CEO Jose Larios praised GD Engineering’s contributions: “The team has done a phenomenal job. Cementing the supply chain, making it more robust, improving our operations and our overall talent across the board, from commercial product management and, of course, operations.”

The origins of GD Engineering can be traced back to 1944, when it was established as General Descaling. Over the decades, it has grown into a global leader, best known for its Bandlock™ quick-opening closures. First introduced in the 1980s and later refined with Bandlock™ 2 in the 1990s, this groundbreaking design remains a benchmark in the industry for reliability and efficiency in high-pressure applications. The brand’s product range now includes advanced pig stop and bypass systems, pig signallers, and launchers that enhance the safety and reliability of remote pigging operations. As a Celeros FT brand since 2020, GD Engineering continues to deliver innovative solutions that protect personnel, improve efficiency, and minimize downtime.

S&N Pumps: 70 Years of Ingenuity

This year also marked the 70th anniversary of S&N Pumps. Our S&N Pumps teams globally had local events to celebrate the occasion and employees received anniversary-branded merchandise as a memento of the event.
