The History of M&J Valve
1962
M&J Valve is founded in the USA by Marvin Grove.
1968
M&J Valve move to their current location in Houston, TX.
The modern plant is designed and created specifically to manufacture valves in all sizes up to 84”.
1977
Daniel Industries acquires M&J Valve, introducing products such as the Piston Check Valve and Safety Swing Valve to their existing portfolio.
1986
The M&J Valve name is formally changed to Daniel Valve.
The company develops the 4-way Diverter and Expanding CO Plug (DANEX) valves.
1999
Emerson Electric Acquires Daniel Industries.
The Compact Expanding Gate Valve is developed.
2002
SPX acquires Daniel Valve and, just three years later, the company name reverts to M&J Valve.
2005
Daniel Valve name is changed back to M&J Valve
2015
SPX becomes SPX FLOW and M&J Valve form part of its Power & Energy portfolio.
2020
Celeros Flow Technology
M&J Valve are one of eight brands from the SPX FLOW Power & Energy Division to become Celeros Flow Technology.
