1982
The original and benchmark design for all 'Band' type Closures sets the positive direction for our business.
1985
The General Descaling Company is bought by Plenty Ltd
1985
The company is rebranded to become GD Engineering.
1993
The GD Bandlock⢠2 Closure is launched to provide horizontal or vertical access to any pressure vessel in seconds.
1997
Pig Stop and Bypass (PSB) introduced to the market as part of the MPLS on the Eastern Trough Area Project (ETAP)
2001
Our product portfolio is expanded to include pig signallers and launching systems.
Now an attractive investment, GD Engineering is acquired by SPX Corporation.
2015
SPX spins off its fluid and filtration system product lines, including GD Engineering, into a new company named SPX FLOW.
2020
Celeros Flow Technology
GD Engineering are one of eight brands from the SPX FLOW Power & Energy Division to become Celeros Flow Technology.
